“I am large, I contain multitudes.”
About ten years ago I started to make mono-prints, then silk-screens and most recently linoleum blocks. Each was a new process at the time I began it. Starting a new medium is almost like starting a new self. It can be an opportunity to go in a direction you didn’t expect to go. Silkscreen advocates color more intense than realistic color, while linoleum cuts are attracted to bold black lines in imagery. Monoprints mix everything up in the spontaneous need of the moment.
